Join Cantor Rabbi Rob Jury for an engaging and illuminating conversation with Veriditas Founder Lauren Artress as they explore the deep roots and rich symbolism of the labyrinth within Jewish tradition. From illuminated manuscripts to Kabbalistic cosmology, the labyrinth appears in surprising ways—echoing stories such as the fall of Jericho and the journey from Passover to Revelation. Rabbi Rob will reveal how the labyrinth is not only compatible with Judaism—but deeply resonant with its stories, symbols, and sacred cycles.
Drawing from his work as founder and Clinical Director of the Tikvah Center for Jewish Recovery and Healing, Rabbi Rob shares how he integrates the labyrinth into Jewish spiritual practice, community worship, and addiction recovery. As an Advanced Veriditas Labyrinth Facilitator, he offers powerful examples of labyrinth use in new moon ceremonies, the seven-week Omer journey, and 12-step recovery walks—each woven with spiritual meaning and sacred intent.
Register to join us live on Zoom on Monday, June 30th at 4pm Pacific, or receive a recording link to watch at your convenience. VIA Members can enroll for free and will also receive exclusive access to a special half-hour Q&A with Rabbi Rob and Lauren following the session.
