How do I donate?
What could I donate? We welcome all donations to our auction – big or small! Are you an artist who could donate their creations? Do you have a special skillset or expertise that could provide a service for someone? Would you consider donating a gift card to our auction? Donation items include (but are certainly not limited to): labyrinth items, music, artwork, getaway vacations, services, books, unique products, jewelry, home & garden items, goods exclusive to your region of the nation – or the world! It’s wonderful to have a wide variety in both items and price range. Connect with our gift coordinator if you have questions: [email protected]. Where do I send my donation? After the auction has closed out, you will receive an email from the auction committee notifying you of the winning bidder’s shipping address and email address. We ask that you contact them via email ASAP so they know when to expect the item. Please remember that part of your donation is being responsible for the shipping of your item to the winning bidder, and costs associated with that shipping. Can I have help with the shipping process? Absolutely! There may be many reasons that you would like help shipping your items: you may be busy with the upcoming holiday season, want to avoid the cost of potentially shipping to an international bidder, or want to save the hassle. Simply create your listing on our website and then ship to our office. All items must be received in our office by September 1st to be listed in our 2025 auction. |
How do I place a winning bid? Beginning October 1st, our auction will be open. Visit our auction website at www.biddingforgood.com/veriditas. Point, Click & Bid! Remember to check back often to see newly added items and to check your bids! Having the highest bid in place when our auction closes means you’ve secured your item and helped Veriditas continue our mission. So what’s the key to securing the win? Bid High & Bid Often! What other ways can I support the annual auction effort? Spread the word: You can help us get the word out by sharing our website (www.biddingforgood.com/veriditas) with anyone who might be interested in the auction items, someone who want to support our mission or those who might be interested in learning more about our organization! Our website (www.veriditas.org) will also predominately feature our auction and provide a link directly to it! Make a Monetary Donation: Did you also know that you can support the Veriditas auction efforts by making a monetary donation? Select the option "Donate Cash" or "Donate Now" to the right on www.biddingforgood.com/veriditas to get started with your donation. Any and all sizes of donations are welcome and appreciated. BECOME AN AUCTION AMBASSADOR: Consider becoming an “Auction Ambassador” and reaching out to friends, local artists or craftspeople you might know or meet to help coodinate unique and original donations for our auction. The auction committee has created an Ambassador Kit, which has inspirational ideas on what to look for and interesting auction details to provide potential donors.
