WEBINAR: Labyrinth Programs in Churches and Places of Worship with Patricia Newton in conversation with Lauren Artress

Churches, synagogues and places of worship are evolving to better connect with broader communities and new congregants. Join Veriditas founder Lauren Artress as she speaks with Patricia Newton about the initiatives and successes at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Portland, Oregon. Canvas labyrinth walks began at Trinity in 1987 and a Labyrinth Guild was formed in 1997. The cathedral hosts public and virtual walks, in-person workshops and online events, and a Speaker’s Series on Zoom. Patricia and Lauren will consider the opportunities and challenges for introducing and maintaining labyrinth programs in religious settings drawing from a wealth of personal experience and sharing insightful stories. 

Bio:  Patricia Newton is an Advanced Veriditas Labyrinth Facilitator and has created labyrinth workshops for over five years at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. She has a deep love of the labyrinth and especially the Chartres Labyrinth which she has been lucky to walk several times.
