Could your soul use some time to rest in the awe-inspiring high desert landscape of Ghost Ranch, New Mexico?

Could your heart open within the sacred circle of the labyrinth nestled in the red rocks of this breathtaking country?

Do you hunger for deep listening and connection with like-minded pilgrims?

We invite you to experience “Sacred Circle, Sacred Land,” Veriditas’ spring 2018 pilgrimage in the Land of Enchantment.

Our pilgrimage will be led by the Rev. Carolyn Metzler, who lives and works in New Mexico and is a veteran guide to the spirituality of the desert landscape. The week will be hosted by Veriditas’ Founder, the Rev. Dr. Lauren Artress.

How do we give ourselves to the vulnerability and lessons of the Unknown and open ourselves to a Presence which is not tame, not predictable, not “nice?”  In every life is wilderness, the place of encounter with the Holy, of un-making, of death and rebirth. Where is that for you and how is it your greatest advocate for authenticity? Participants will experience living into the invitation of wilderness as metaphor within the actual stunning desert landscape surrounding us at Ghost Ranch.

Additional highlights of the week include a full moon walk of the Ghost Ranch labyrinth; rituals of music and prayer to celebrate our connection to the sacred; and a visit to some of the sites on the Ghost Ranch property that were painted by Georgia O’Keeffe, in her own artistic and spiritual exploration of the landscape.

Please join us on this soul-nourishing journey. The “Sacred Circle, Sacred Land” of New Mexico’s high desert awaits you.

GHOST RANCH

With a history as colorful as the surrounding red and yellow cliffs of the Piedra Lumbre (shining stone), Ghost Ranch is an education and retreat center offering a diversity of programs and adventure. Open year-round, the Ranch is committed to spiritual development, peace and justice, honoring the environment and exploring family through the celebration of art, culture and nature.

The landscape of Ghost Ranch—made famous by painter Georgia O’Keeffe—encompasses 21,000 acres of towering rock walls, vivid colors and vast skies. People from all over the world come to work together in creation care, to paint, write poetry, to hike, ride horseback, to research globally renowned archaeological and fossil quarries or simply to rest and renew their spirits.
