Lecture: Spiritual but Not Religious: Using the Labyrinth to Find Your Way, with the Reverend Dr. Lauren Artress

We are living in a “hinge” time; a time when things are changing so quickly that every institution is struggling to keep up, including traditional religious institutions. Many of us continue to attend but feel restless and undernourished so we augment our spiritual growth through a variety of avenues. Others of us have given up all together and have decided to go our own way spiritually. Either way, this puts much responsibility on each of us to “do our own work” through a chosen spiritual practice. Walking the labyrinth is a practice gaining international recognition for its ability to help us reflect, pray, release, address psycho-spiritual issues and find perspective.

This lecture will address the times we live in, finding a spiritual practice and specific applications that can be used with the labyrinth. We will address forgiveness, healing of memories, and ritual uses for gratitude and grief. Please join us.
