Walking the labyrinth: old paths and new directions A Veriditas Approved Qualifying Workshop with Jan Sellers

  • 25 Jul 2016
  • 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre, 1046 Bristol Road, Birmingham, West Midlands B29 6LJ United Kingdom

This one-day workshop is for all who are interested in finding out - or learning more - about labyrinth walking. We will explore the idea of the labyrinth as a metaphor for journey; discover its fascinating history and reflect on the labyrinth as a path to support spiritual development; healing, wellbeing and learning. We will have time to enjoy Woodbrooke's lovely surroundings with a labyrinth walk indoors and outdoors. The course fee includes lunch and refreshments.  Overnight accommodation, if needed, can also be booked through Woodbrooke.

This is a Qualifying Workshop for Veriditas, a prerequisite for Veriditas' facilitator training weekends. Facilitator training opportunities in Europe this year include Iona, Scotland, in August; Chartres, France, in September; and a waiting list for the (fully booked) facilitator training in Wakefield, England (October).

Workshop fee £60 includes lunch and refreshments.
