Introducing Milton Woolley

-Helped build two Labyrinths: 1. Ions, 2. Argentina

-Led the first Veriditas pilgrimage for men to Argentina in March of this year: “Living Fully the Second Half of Life: A Retreat for Men Over 50” and will be doing so again in 2016

This Webinar will discuss the male journey from an exterior to an interior focus and how important the labyrinth can be in facilitating that journey. With Lauren and Milton in conversation, they will trace some of the obstacles experienced by men along the way – the acculturation of men toward the exterior accomplishments and the away from the interior worlds of feelings, passion, and meaning. Holding to rigid stereotypes of men and women is not helpful, yet addressing some of the special concerns of each sex can help create more safety needed for inner work.

The labyrinth as a metaphor for the journey from the outside to inside provides the perfect container for this process. The men’s pilgrimage to Argentina has been designed to facilitate this work. Anchored by the labyrinth walks, the effect was profound in terms of the inner richness expressed by the men who journeyed there this last year.

Lauren and Milton will also discuss the work of Matthew Fox in “The Hidden Spirituality of Men: Ten Metaphors to Awaken the Sacred Masculine.”
