Qualifying Workshop: "Taking Our Place" with Veriditas Master Teacher, the Reverend Dr. Kay Mutert

This particular weekend is a transitional time in the calendar recognized throughout many traditions. It is a significant weekend to come together, taking our place as a part of the generations gone before in the great celebration of saints, and looking to our place in the transitions of life into the future.  It is a time of honoring the Christian practice of All-Saints Day, the Hispanic community's traditional Day of the Dead, the Celtic tradition's time of Samhain, and the need for all to remember and renew.  The weekend events will include a Thursday lecture on the history of the labyrinth, a Saturday workshop, and a Sunday evensong and candlelight labyrinth walk.

The Saturday workshop focuses on the theme of compassion, memory, love and healing.The labyrinth offers a space to acknowledge our place in our generational life journey. As we take our place in the deep historical labyrinth presence on this earth, we join the many for whom walking the labyrinth offers a place for healing, hope, connection and vision. The Saturday workshop will include a labyrinth walk, art expression, and reflection time.
