Public Lecture: The Labyrinth: a Path of Prayer by Lauren Artress

Prayer is the central act in all the world traditions. However, when we go through changes we can lose the thread of its meaning in our lives. We can be easily distracted when our lives are moving along smoothly, but it can be an act of desperation when are lives run amuck. Walking the labyrinth can be a surprisingly effective prayer tool. It allows the mind to quiet so we have a choice of how we focus our thoughts, whether it is to solve a problem or direct them to the divine.
